One of our members on the Facebook Group Ian Moore posted this great photo from 1970. It’s of his Grandfather’s Mr C Moore outstanding British chaser Moordyke Spot. An Irish whelp by Newdown Heather from prolific dam Nelson’s Farewell she had 33 pups to race from eight litters. Moordyke Spot was judged the 1970 Greyhound of the Year in the UK with his best win the Oxfordshire Stake. He was trained by Stan Martin of Wimbledon. As a sire Moordyke Spot produced 373 offspring.
