Hawk offered me the gig which included interviewing the trainers of the finalists at kennel time. I had been contributing to Ron’s Wednesday night show Chasing Extra with a segment called Magic Moments. When he asked me to do the Top Gun he said like Wednesday night, he didn’t think he get me payment for it. I replied I would pay 3UZ for the chance. As it turned out the love job led to many other opportunities.
