I am sure everyone connected to Greyhound Racing marvelled at the talent of New South Wales Racecaller Paul Ambrosoli. Acknowledged as the best of his craft with good reason he was also equal as any as an event Host or any number of entertaining past times he has chosen to partake of over the years. There has not being many poems penned over the years in regard to Greyhound Racing and the GBOTA struck a winner commissioning well renowned Australian Rupert McCall who wrote and performed a classic for this year’s Easter Egg. Another famious poem was written about the mighty Chief Havoc by Neville J Fisher. Here is one penned by Paul Ambrosoli in 1978, I am sure many of us have had the privilege of wittnessing it performed live by the great man himself.
