Gary Smith posted – I share this as I believe it should never be forgotten, how a group of unpaid volunteers in a six week time frame were able to demolish and rebuild a racetrack from grass to sand and only working with a budget of $50,000. In my opinion it will never be seen again in the greyhound industry.
It would take me all day to thank everyone who I begged, borrowed or got to donate materials to complete the job but do understand that each and everyone one of these people have a special place in my heart and in the history of the industry for what they were able to accomplish.
The most famous one of a kind tie in Greyhound history, I was dared to wear it on the catching pen and did.
People may have forgotten my name but when they seen the tie, they knew I was after something ![🤣](https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tab/1.5/16/1f923.png)
