Found an interesting publication celebrating 50 years of Greyhound racing at Harold Park on May 28th, 1977. The special Souvenir Race Programme was printed for the meeting, I like the fact it cost 50 cents. Great front-page stories of the past and some super shots inside a couple I have put here one of Garry Wilson and his champ Woolley Wilson and the late Hec Watt with superstar Zoom Top. I also like the clip from the doyen of Greyhound Journalists the late Jack Woodward about a dog named Gladstone Boy that won no less than 30 races at H.P. Sadly as we know the track closed in 1987. However, I have fond memories of my first race meeting there in January 1971 and also racing my dog Ron’s Champ there in 1987 three meeting before it closed, we ran second.
