Howard Gray – Some top fellas there that made an enormous contribution to greyhound racing in general. Ray Byron brings back great memories from when I was over staying with his great mate Ross Mitchell and we’d head down weekly to Ray’s Noble Park abode to stock up on fresh vegetables along with Ray’s other mates. Ray was a foreman in the Waterworks in charge of the water supply to the market gardeners… nuff said. 
Ray won a National Distance Championship Final with All Promise, a race where our Cool It Pop finished unplaced.
