Some photo’s from the Night. Listowel is a spot in country Kerry, and the name of the cottage next to the Fairlie home occupied at the time by an old lady with an interest in the Fairlie’s greyhounds.

Jeff Collerson – I once took a tour of bookies, punters & trainers to Ireland. We had a great time in county Kerry. Our Irish bus driver Brian O’Brien regaled us with stories about people from County Kerry. Where Irish jokes were cracked here. in Ireland the jokes were about people from County Kerry. But the hospitality was breathtaking.

John Stephens – Lyn Pearson (who used to work at MGRA) on LHS next to Charlie Paine. Chairman Harold Matthews in the middle.
