Former Victoria Lesley Green from Copmanhurst near Grafton in Northern New South Wales was kind enough to send me again an amazing piece of memorabilia. Another piece that belonged to Lesley’s famous father the late Les Foran. An iconic Greyhound man from way back Les was President of the MGRA and GOTBA. This is a record which was “A joint venture between SGRC and MGRA, called ‘Big Night Out’ was recorded at Allan Eaton Studios in St Kila by ‘Buzz Fraser & The Band Of Gold’. Love the name of the Group. It was released as a promotional 7” single in 1979.It certainly is a catchy song, with the help of Sandown’s media man and tipping expert Ethan Christian, he turned it into an MP3 so we can listen to it. Our favourite line is “take your wife at the time of life” 🤣 Have a listen, it sounds great.
