We have had many outstanding Chairman of the GRCB & GRV in my time involved in Greyhound Racing. People who led by example Jan Wilson comes to mind Brian Halpin, Phil Power, Bernie Carolan and the accurate one Bill Collins. Here is photo of Bill with two icons of Victorian Greyhound Racing Sylvester Doyle and Ron Bennett from Gippsland. Plus, a list of Bill’s achievements when chair of the GRV. Bill passed in 1997.
Des Dooley – Had a bit to do with Bill Collins and found him somebody whose word you could trust. The others mentioned were also great contributors, particularly Jan Wilson.
