The Horsham Cup, the club’s blue riband event of 2004. Saw the brilliant Brumby Lad showed what a speed machine he was lowering the club’s 480 metre record in both the heat and final. He eclipsed the 26.94 record set by Brett Lee in June 2000, he then blew his rivals away recording 26.85 in the cup final. It was the fawn sprinters 33rd win and emulated his sire Lansley Bale’s win in the 1998 Horsham Cup.
