Today I am remembering the versatile chaser Paradise Street (Warren’s Flyer x Miss Crisp) A Brindle Dog Whelped 27/03/1994. Trained by both Allan Britton and Linda Britton he had 103 starts for 35 wins and 34 placings prizemoney unknown. Started racing in Victoria he was won his maiden over 457 at Geelong, he also won over 600 and 700 at Geelong. He won a couple of 500’s at Sandown and a win at Cranbourne. He first raced in West Australia at Cannington over 530 in February 1997 and went back and forth to Victoria several times during his career. He won a number of 715 metre races at Sandown, while at Cannington he won over 530, 638 and numinous over 700 on a couple of occasions stringing four wins together at the top level, he also won over 731 at Angle Park. He won the Group 3 Distance Gift at Cannington and in September 1998 won the Group 2 National Distance Championship in 41.75 defeating Cape Drina and Shar Den. In his extensive career he raced all of the best stayers of his time. to name a few Ringside Fire, Kobble Creek, Poetic Reward, Tonight’s Wish, Moe’s Tavern, Totally Ablaze, Gallant Seagull, Red Mystique, Northern Legend and Dust Settler.
