Here is a story I did with veteran Victorian trainer Paul Anderton in 2004. Filmed at his Bunyip complex in Gippsland it features his Sydney Cup winner Distinctive. Whelped April 2000 by Spoken Joe from Blue Lustre she had 71 starts for 13 wins and 23 placings. In the Cup she beat a class field including Arvo’s Junior, Irinka Barbie and Oh Behave. Paul took GRV to VCAT in 2017 and was cleared of charges related to incidents in 2015. The former GRV Steward still is training today. When I started training in 1984 I brought my first dog under my care from Paul. She won first up at Sale.
