This may seem an odd pic to put up but the reason is the jumpers, the Sandown boys have on. The late Ken Carr and Ron Snell were captains of the MGRA team and Sandown. The Sandown boys have the great Springvale colours of Red, White and Blue with the white monogram. For anyone interstate this will mean nothing but Springvale is my club, I am a life member and devoted over 30 years of service to the club twice as President. We won many Premierships in both the Federal League and the VFA-VFL. One of the boys, looking every bit a top player is Kevin Reid another of the Reid clan.
