Love these Strip Photo finishes from 1972 featured in the ALLSPORT Magazine. The editorial was penned by the late Maurie Kirby and his son Wayne both called the action on 3XY. I have fond memories of a little chaser featured here winning Newspot she was raced by first time owner Wayne Bennett and trained by my next door neighbour and long time family friend the late David “Snowy” Mclean. Snowy was quite a character and would be remembered by many.
Terry Hodge – Same thing was printed on back page of Harold Park Race Book showing all photo finishes and details of each race from previous meeting. Used to save them and thought they were a great feature of the race book. The Wentworth Park race books were rubbish in comparison in those days.
Des Dooley– Some wonderful memories here as well. Gippsland greyhound Kamarl Blue got Terry Proctor started. Kamarl Blue rewarded Terry for his kindness.
Duncan Foster– Greyhound weekly had this as well in the eighties
