Here we are on Saturday 29th August 1987 drove up overnight first starter at Harold Park got permission to walk the track. The dog was Ron’s Champ handy but hard to train. He had the red but he got lost at the turn and run second well beaten by 5 in 27.61. Great weekend. Sadly the track closed three weeks later.
