On July 14th my club at Sandown conducted a moving ceremony unveiling a new Acknowledgement of Country plaque with a traditional smoking ceremony conducted by Uncle Mik and Jungala and supported by the Bunurong Land Council. The initiative was instigated by our CEO Adrian Scott with support from BDM Bernadette Dillon. The ground staff performed an amazing job with the construction of the site. It has transformed that part of the grounds into a beautiful tranquil area we can all be proud of. Well done to all concerned.
