Back in 1965 was the first of the NCA sponsored nights of the NRL Grand Final winners at Wentworth Park. Races were named after players and I noticed the first name on the list is Dragons Legend Norm Provan who passed away yesterday aged 89. Now what I know about Rugby League would fill the back of a postage stamp. However my mate and NRL advisor Dragons tragic Ron Arnold tells me these nights were a big affair.
