If you ever wonder how the Hurdles were made in the later years from the 70’s on here is a description. In the old days they built them how they liked timber slats, water jumps, brush hurdles. The late Ron Nestor told me they use to have a Steeple Chase at White over 400 yards and jump over a dozen different obstacles.
