Postman Pat has made his mark since making his way across from New Zealand who knows what he could achieve in the next six months. He could win the Melbourne Cup like another New Zealander did in 1974 Kwik Metal.
Darren Leeson -Hope so, $8.50 looks mighty inviting about him!
Peter Hookey– There’s a small problem with the report………Kwik Metal was a bitch.
She was part of a very good litter which included Supreme Metal.
Neil Brown– Peter Hookey Good pick up I let Denis know next time I see him.
Shane Hookey – My late father trained his litter brother Supreme Metal,a striking Brindle and White dog,he was free to all Sandown,Olympic Park,Cranbourne,Geelong(old track) a lovely natured dog,(Nick)was, could walk him on a piece of cotton! Very fast box dog,our family went away on a holiday, his owner picked him up,from his spell, took him to Malcolm Hirtzel, never won another race! Finished up at stud in NZ,would love to know,if he threw anything,we were happy to have the 2nd best in the litter !!
