Now there is a circle track the old Lawnton Complex. The club’s biggest race meeting in the 70’s was Metro Cup day.
Jeff Collerson – A perfect circle and all dogs could handle it, even dogs which got really wide run on other tracks. Closest we had to it in NSW was Moss Vale.
Reg Hazelgrove -Top Simbi was widest runner you would get he used to. break the track record every time he trialed there over 370m.

George Clegg– Digger Edwards. That’s how I remember him. Trained many good dogs for my mother
Jeff Collerson – George Clegg Digger won the first 720m NCA Gold Cup at WP with Brigdale in 1966 and won the Tweed Heads Galaxy with Ebony King in ’74 & ’75
