Legendary Kid

I will never for arriving on course for the 1986 Melbourne Cup to hear the news race favourite from box 1 Camdens Ghost had been scratched after a mishap in the car park when she dislocated her tail. It left the race wide open for Jim and Christine Coleman’s Legendary Kid to lead most of the way. He was a great dog for them. I also remember watching the Cup in the Unfinished Grandstand sitting on concreate with Bob Douglas. Here is an interview I did with Jim and Christine at Tweed Heads.
