National Lee

What might have been outstanding New South Wales stayer National Lee had her career cut short and lost her life after suffering an horrendous track accident at Wentworth Park. National Lee Great stayer early 80’s

Robbie Tyler – Without doubt the fastest staying bitch I have ever seen. I was there that night at Wenty and I will never forget the incident. She was a freak.
Mark Small– Absolutely beautiful conformation and ability masterfully trained by a wonderful lady, Jill Fletcher 🙏🏻
Mick Haskas- And national lass young jill always have her dogs looking in great condition sorry and warren
Robbie Tyler Reason Kennels -Mick Haskas Richie Dean trained National Lass Mick. Owned by Richard Zammit. She was a champion bitch too. That Waroo Lass damline sure threw some brilliant greyhounds.
Charlie Lucas- Can anyone remember a stayer called Mockacindy 1976/1979
Roxy Farrell– Charlie Lucas wasn’t she trained by Allan Chauncy I think she was white and black sired by Pacermatic , also in that era Michelle Cherie , Swedish Mink , Kawati Boy , The Wee Lassie , Village Swallow , Minnie Jubilee , all fantastic stayers
Robbie Tyler Reason Kennels- Roxy Farrell that was a great era Roxy. Nimble Twinkle was another favourite of mine.
Roxy Farrell- Robbie Tyler Reason Kennels and the marathon racing 800- 900 metres , Jack Snodgrass had With The Wind the longer the better she went
Robbie Tyler Reason Kennels– Due In was another. She would be a lap off them early. 😂
Roxy Farrell– I remember Jill giving the sign to back her if she patted her own head if National Lee was on song for the race when she got to the boxes of course her brother Bruce was a bookie at the time , she also won a ford car as one of her trophies
