A smart sprinter of the middle 90’s was Phantom Fire a Black and White Dog February 1995 whelp by Fire Cape from Just Peggy he had 68 starts for 27 wins and 8 placings he won from 457-550 metres winning $37,991. Trained by Graeme Bate he won most of his races at Sandown with a number Best Of Night efforts his best a fast 29.66. He also won Geelong, Ballarat, Horsham, Shepparton, Wentworth Park and Hobart. Graeme also stood him at stud and he produced 256 offspring. His best pups were Mystical Gem, Skull Ring, Great Challenge, Scobes and Brittney Bale.
