Three Hobart 1000 winners Erin’s Ace 1949, Peter’s Treasure 1959 and Ophir Doll won back to back 1961-62. I also came across this photo of the old Hobart TCA it looks the same as I remembered it the first time I went there in 1971 with Rev’s Range in the Xmas Hurdle. As the story explains they have been at it a long time down there 1935. Let’s hope sanity prevails and we can continue in 2025.
