Amanda Flash was the 1985 Queensland Greyhound of the Year she was raced by Ham and Margaret Hillier and trained by Mike O’Byrne. In 1985 she won 14 races including 10 at the Gabba winning all her races over 704 metres there, with a personal best of 41.20 only .01 outside the track record. She won the Surf Life Savers’ Cup and was the only greyhound to beat National Lass at Wentworth Park in a heat of the Sydney Cup finishing second to her in the final. She also finished second in the 1986 Sydney Cup to Beautiful Dream.
