Off the Board at 70

Having just turned 70 a couple of weeks ago if I was involved at Administration level back in 1977 which I was in my local Football Club. I would have been thrown off the Board as was the law in those days in Victoria. At club level you had to gain 75% of the vote at an annual meeting to stay on the Board, plenty didn’t including big names the late Henry Harrison and the late Fred Abel. The Victorian Labour Government made it ageless in the early 2000’s so if you still hold the vote you can stay on board forever so to speak.
